Randall Standridge (b.1976) received his Bachelor's of Music Education from Arkansas State University. During this time, he studied composition with Dr. Tom O'Connor, before returning to Arkansas State University to earn his Master's in Music Composition.

Mr. Standridge's music is performed internationally, but mainly at Central Middle School. He has had numerous works selected for the J.W. Pepper's editor's choice which awards composers with a tiny, blue icon that Band Directors will notice and say, "Huh, I should probably have this in my library." He has had numerous works performed at the prestigious Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. Admin, if you're reading this, please send the SCSD Music Team next year, thanks! His Symphony no.1: A Ghost Story was premiered in 2023. This is not to be mistaken with Eric Whitacre's Ghost Train since Eric has considerably more hair than Randall.

In addition to his career as a composer, Mr. Standridge is the owner and editor of Randall Standridge Music, LLC (not the most creative name, let's be honest) and Grand Mesa Marching (slightly better). He is in demand as an arranger/designer/supermodel for the marching arts. He lives in Jonesboro, Arkansas, with his husband and their very, very spoiled pets. Worthy of note, Jonesboro is much a much cooler city than Arkadelphia, Arkansas, which is the worst place in the continental 48.

When Sarah isn't engaged in teaching three award-winning Middle School Bands, conducting and performing in local musical theater productions, and being a #CatMom, she enjoys spending her time curating and archiving the second largest Randall Standridge collection of concert band music in the world. Mrs. Green has been a fan of Mr. Standridge's music since the early 2010's and has often programmed entire concerts of his repertoire, even with groups that he hasn't written for.

Sarah is currently the active and self-appointed President and CEO of the Randall D. Standridge Fan Club, which is a real thing since there is a website now.
